What a busy day we had! This morning we went to an amazing assembly for Black History Month. This assembly was rescheduled due to bad weather, but we are so glad we got to see it now. The performers are students from our school or from Cabin John and Churchill. They danced, sang and one student did a one woman short play about Harriet Tubman. This was part of their show that will be repeated tonight in the APR Room at 7:00. We worked more on our biographies today. The students are doing a great job of telling about their classmate and asking even more questions to add more details to their book. We had Talent Time once again today. We had a magician, a comedian tell knock-knock jokes , a dancer, a bird watcher, and two children show their basketball skills. We also had a crafter, and she had photographs that showed how she makes bath bombs. Every child got a bath bomb, so be sure to check their backpacks! They know you get to decide when and how they use them. We are enjoying Talent Time and are so impressed with the talent in our class, and their creative families!
Have a great weekend! Miss Wolfe
