Today we began talking about wind.  We studied this picture and talked about what might be happening in the photograph.

We watched a short video to get the whole story!
We read the story The Wind Blew by Pat Hutchins.  This story is about how the wind picks up various items and mixes them up before dropping them.  We listened and took a picture in our head to try and remember all ten items.  Then we sketched and used our stretchy snakes to stretch out the words and label each picture.
We also talked more about symbols and flags.  We made our own flags to represent ourselves.  We thought of 4 or 5 things to put on our flag to represent who we are.  One of the things needed to represent what we are like.  We got inspiration from this Will I. Am song.  Enjoy!
Don't forget, tomorrow is Walk to School Day.  We will be meeting at Cabin John beginning at 9:05.  Mrs. Bekdash and Ms. Lillis will be there to walk with the students to school with the rest of the school.  I may stop by but am having a root canal tomorrow, so the children will have a substitute.

Have a nice evening!
Miss Wolfe
