Today we finished up our testing in math! The kids did a great job. We will continue to work with numbers and their relationships.
In the computer lab today, we used a new program called Type to Learn. This program helps us learn about the keyboard. We learned where "Home Position" is on the keyboard. We practiced using the letters in "Home Position" and used the space bar with our thumb. We know we need to curve our fingers to hit the keys.
We are bringing home postcards we made in Social Studies today. We are beginning a project called "The Postcard Project." We will each send out at least four postcards to family and friends across the United States and even the world. We are asking for them to send us a postcard back. We need out families to cut apart the four postcards, address them, and put postage on them. If you would like to send out more than four postcards, please just let me know and I will send you more postcards!
We had a great, busy day and Miss Wolfe is so proud of our progress!
