We had a great Field Day today thanks to Mr. Romans. We spent our morning outside hopping, running, bowling, batting, and doing lots of other fun activities set up by Mr. Romans and run by our fifth graders. Ask me about what I did at Field Day! We wrote an advertisement this afternoon for our bake sale. We included where, when and why we are having a bake sale for the No Kid Hungry campaign of Share Our Strength. We made thank-you bags to give out at the bake sale. We also practiced addition and sorted true and false addition problems. Of course we checked in on the eaglets. They are so active now, especially when it's a little windy or a little rainy. They are a lot of fun to watch as they learn to use their wings, hover, and perch on branches. Check out this video of the eaglets "dancing" in the rain! I'm looking forward to seeing our bake sale sellers on Sunday. A huge thank-you to everyone for your support of this special event!
