Miss Wolfe's Kinders Care
Our team is made up of Miss Wolfe's kindergarten students and their families from Bells Mill Elementary School. We chose to get involved in the Great American Bake Sale to learn about helping others. We are also learning about producers and consumers in Social Studies so this project is a learning experience. All students will be involved in our project in some way. Our students are learning about being producers by helping their family make baked goods. They are learning about packaging and advertising as well. They will be making thank-you bags for those who are buying the baked goods. They will also be making signs and sandwich boards to draw attention to our bake sale. We will be writing persuasive announcements to be read on our school announcements, as well as written advertisements. In mathematics, we are learning about money, and our kindergarten students will be involved in counting our proceeds using money mats. Most importantly, our students will learn that even little kids can make a big difference!
